    Green Garden Trails:    
    Public Hearing - October 22nd

    A public hearing on the draft Green Garden Township Trail Plan was held on October 22, 2007 at 7 PM at the Green Garden Town Hall located at Center and Manhattan-Monee Roads.

    Questions were answered following the presentation of the draft plan. Changes to the plan based on concerns at the meeting as well as those from legal review are reflected in the draft linked below. A statement regarding plan drafters' the Township Board's long standing agreement to NOT use emeninent domain is included in this draft. This specific statement was provide with the help of legal advice.

    As a general rule, the Green Garden Township Trail Plan Committee meets on the Fourth Monday of each month.   Meetings are held at the Town Hall on the southwest corner of Manhattan/Monee and Center roads.   The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.

    The goal of this committee is to prepare a comprehensive trail plan that will provide guidance to developers and Green Garden Township as the area develops.
