As a general rule, the Green Garden Township Planning Commission meets on the first Monday of each month.   Meetings are held at the Town Hall on the southwest corner of Manhattan/Monee and Center roads.   The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.

Agenda items are published as Legal Notices in the Peotone Vedette prior to the meeting for which they will be heard.   If no cases are pending, and no legal notices were published, then the Commission may cancel the meeting without notice.   The Planning Commission may from time to time, due to scheduling conflicts, hold the meeting on another day in the same week.

Once the Planning Commission has ruled on a zoning case, their decision is forwarded to Will County Planning and Zoning.   The Planning Commission's recommendation is also heard at the next regular meeting of the township board where the board will vote to accept their decision.
