    The Green Garden Township Board heard two zoning cases.

    1. Request for map amendment from A-2 to E-1 for 10 acres located on north side of Offner Road between 80th Ave. and 88th Ave., to allow for 2 5-acre parcels to be established - PIN 13-35-400-004 and 13-35-400-005, Will County Case #5467-M.
      This case passed 4-0
    2. Request for map amendment from A-1 to R-2, and R-2A, with Special Use Permit for PUD, including areas of floodplain, for 162.4 acres located on the west side of Center Road, south of Bruns Road for residential development - P.I.N. 13-28-200-005 and 13-28-200-012.
      Because of significant opposition to the R-4 zoning for townhomes at the Planning Commission hearing a week earlier, and because the Comprehensive Plan does not directly address the ability to zone R-4 with townhomes, the applicant amended the application to only include the R-2 and R-2A zonings with PUD. The request passed 4-0.
